for + 一段時間
事情長期進行
I've worked here for 10 years.

短語
for ages ： 長期，很久
for a while： 一段時間，不長也不短
The music soothed her for a while.

可以用來說明一件事情持續(xù)多久

over與during得意思一樣
但更加口語化
