GREAT SAGE EQUALING HEAVEN
第十四章 齊天大圣
The Heavenly Palace is full of gods, wondering what post would be given to the monkey from Earth.
天宮眾仙云集，且看這只凡間來的猴子究竟得個什么官職。
"Ok, make Sun Wukong the Stable Minister!" announced the Jade Emperor.
“好，那就封孫悟空為弼馬溫吧！”玉帝傳旨道。
Other gods asked Wukong to kneel down to thank his Majesty's mercy, but he only bowed to the Jade Emperor, accepted the post with great joy.
眾仙叫他謝恩，他也只是在朝上作了個揖，隨后就歡歡喜喜去上任了。
Wukong didn't know the specific status or significance of this post. He believed what the White Planet said, it's high ranking, extremely high.
悟空并不知道這個官職具體的地位或意義，相信太白金星所說，這是個大官，大大的官。
He worked hard and happily at the stable.
他很高興，在御馬監(jiān)勤奮的當(dāng)職。
There were thousands of Heavenly Steeds in the stable, all fine horses, and several officials assisting him, each had their own duties.
御馬監(jiān)有天馬千匹，均為上等良馬，還有數(shù)名官員輔佐，各司其職。
Wukong took care of the horses day and night, woke up the asleep ones to eat grass, led the escaped ones back to the stable. It took him only half a month, and the horses grew really strong.
孫悟空日夜勤勉看管天馬，馬睡著了就趕起來吃草，馬跑了就捉回來放槽里，只半個月的時間，都養(yǎng)得膘肥馬壯。
Everything went well, and everyone was happy, till one day when he was having a drink with his colleagues.
一切都很好，每個人都很開心，直到有一天他和同僚們喝酒。
"What is the official title of my position, the Stable Minister?" asked Wukong suddenly, stopped his cup.
歡飲之間，猴王忽然停杯問道：“我這弼馬溫究竟是個什么官銜？”
"Official title? It has no official title, just an official name," other people replied.
“官銜？沒有官銜，只是個官名罷了?！?眾人答到。
"I mean…what's the ranking?" Wukong asked again.
“那此官究竟是個幾品？”猴王又問道。
"Ranking? No ranking,"they laughed,"This position is so low that it did not even appear in the register of officials. You're just a horse servant."
“沒有品，是未入流的官。”眾人又說，“就是末等，最低最小，只是個看馬的罷了。”
"Your diligence in fattening up horse only to earn a 'good'. Otherwise, if they didn't grow well, you might get punishment."
“你這么殷勤，喂得馬肥，只落得聲好字，若是喂瘦了，還要罰贖問罪呢?！?/p>
This made Wukong angry, gritting his teeth. "It's an insult to me! I am the King of Flower and Fruit Mountain! How dare they put me to work as a horse servant?"
聽了這話，猴王不覺心頭火起，咬牙大怒，“這般藐視老孫！老孫在那花果山稱王稱祖，如今怎么哄我來替他養(yǎng)馬？”
"I'll quit! This rankless Stable Minister!”
“這弼馬溫，不做也罷！”
He pushed the desk down with a crash, took out the Magic Stick, and pushed his way out of the stable to the South Gate, damaging a lot of things on his way.
唿喇的一聲，他把公案推倒，從耳中取出金箍棒，一路打出御馬監(jiān)，到了南天門。
The guards knew that he was the official immortal and dared not stop him, let him rush out of the gate.
南天門的守衛(wèi)知道他授了仙箓，不敢阻擋，讓他沖出天門外去了。
With just one somersault, he returned to the Waterfall Cave in an instant.
他翻了一個筋斗，須臾之間，就回到水幕洞去了。
His monkeys came out to welcome him and said,"Your Majesty, it's fifteen years! You must have had a very good time."
猴子們都來叩頭迎接，“恭喜大王，上界十幾年了，可真夠久的。想必得意榮歸了？”
Wukong said, "I was only there for half a month, not fifteen years."
猴王道：“走了才半個月，哪有十幾年?！?/p>
"Your Majesty, you were in Heaven so you didn't realize that one day in Heaven is one year on Earth," then the monkeys asked again, "What post did they give you in Heaven?"
眾候說，“大王不知，您在天上，不覺時辰，天上一日，就是下界一年呢。請問大王官居何職？”
When it comes to the post, Wukong waved hand immediately, "Don't mention it, don't mention it, I'm ashamed! The Jade Emperor does not know how to employ people. He made me the Stable Minister, which is to raise horses for him! A rankless post, I never want it! Now I'm back!"
提到官職，猴王連連搖手：“不好說，不好說，活活的羞死人了！那玉帝不會用人，封我做個什么弼馬溫，原來是給他養(yǎng)馬！未入流的官，不做也罷！老孫這就回來了！”
"Good to be back! Good to be back!" All the monkeys felt angry about his experience, "Your Majesty is the King of this blessed land. How much respect and happiness do we have? Why should you be his horse servant?"
“回來的好！回來的好！”眾猴聽到這些都被激怒了，“大王在這福地洞天之處為王，多少尊重快樂？為何要去做他的馬夫？”
Some monkeys advised again, "Your Majesty, with such great ability, never mention a minister, you can be titled as the Great Sage Equally Heaven."
此時忽然又有猴子提議，“以大王的神通，做什么馬夫？您可以做齊天大圣！”
"Yes, I can be the Great Sage Equally Heaven!" Wukong liked this title, he was very happy and said "Good" for three times. Then the four monkeys were told to set up a banner with the words "Great Sage Equally Heaven" written on it, which soon futtered all over the kingdom.
“就做齊天大圣！” 猴王聽說后歡喜不已，連說了三個好！好！好！隨后就叫四猴去置個旌旗，旗上寫“齊天大圣”四個字，立馬掛起來，很快就傳遍了整個猴國。
Since that, all monkeys and other demon kings were asked to call him the Great Sage Equally Heaven, instead of the Monkey King, which also offended the Jade Emperor.
自此以后，眾猴子及各路妖王，見孫悟空都不再稱大王，而是稱齊天大圣。此事也惹怒了玉皇大帝。
"Sun Wukong, the new Stable Minister, despised and abandoned his official post, went to Earth without permission!" These rumors spread fast through the Heavenly Palace.
“新任弼馬溫孫悟空，因嫌官小，竟然私自下界去了?！碧鞂m一時間傳得沸沸揚揚。
When the Jade Emperor learned this, he immediately ordered Heavenly King Li and Prince Ne Zha, taking their troops to Earth, to arrest Sun Wukong!
玉帝得知此事后，便派了托塔李天王與哪吒三太子兩路神將，即刻興師下界，捉拿孫悟空！
